We process your data to perform our contract with you (delivering your pixels and certificate), on the basis of your consent (e.g. displaying your chosen name publicly), and for our legitimate interests in securing and improving the Service.

To apply your pixels to the map, show your contribution on the public wall and activity feed, generate your certificate, process payment, prevent abuse, and meet legal and accounting obligations.

We share data only with processors who help us run the Service — our payment provider (Stripe) and our hosting/database providers (e.g. Vercel, Supabase) — under data-processing agreements. We never sell your personal data.

Some processors may store data outside the EEA. Where they do, transfers are protected by adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Contribution records are kept for the life of the project and its archives (e.g. Hall of Fame). Payment and accounting records are kept as long as legally required. You may request deletion of your personal display name/message at any time.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, and to object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise any right, email hello@glowmyworld.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

We use only essential cookies/local storage needed to run the Service (such as remembering your currency preference). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
