Terms of the Game

1. What this is
Glow My World (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) is an online interactive art project and entertainment experience. By lighting pixels you purchase a digital, cosmetic contribution to a shared world map. The Service is operated from Germany. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
2. Not gambling, no prizes
The Service is not a game of chance, lottery, or gambling product. There is no wager, no randomness affecting value, and no monetary prize. You pay a fixed, disclosed price and receive exactly what is described: pixels on a map, a listing on the contributor wall, and a downloadable certificate.
3. What you get
Lighting a pixel grants you a non-exclusive, cosmetic display of your contribution on the shared map for the duration of the current season. Pixels are not securities, currency, tokens, or transferable property, and confer no ownership of the Service, any country, or any real-world location.
4. Pricing & purchases
Prices are shown before purchase and start at 0.50 USD per pixel. Minimum purchase is 5 pixels. Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g. Stripe); we never store your full card details. All prices may include applicable taxes where required.
5. Refunds
Because contributions are applied to the map immediately and are digital in nature, all sales are final once your pixels are lit, except where a refund is required by applicable consumer-protection law. If a technical error prevents your pixels from being applied, contact us at hello@glowmyworld.com and we will make it right.
6. Conduct & messages
Optional messages are limited to 50 characters and are public. You must not submit content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, infringing, or that impersonates others. We may remove any message or name and revoke access for abuse, without refund where abuse has occurred.
7. Seasons & resets
The map operates in seasons. When the world is fully lit, or at a scheduled date, the map may reset. Past contributions may be archived (e.g. in the Hall of Fame) but the live map will start fresh. Resets do not entitle you to a refund.
8. Availability
We aim for high availability but provide the Service “as is” without warranty of uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
